The 2017 Troop 33 BBQ is just around the corner. Our wood supplier has dropped off some wood that we need to cut, split and stack so that we can clear the hut area for the 75th Anniversary celebration in August. With that in mind, we are going to hold a Wood Day on May 14th. Details are as follows:

When: Saturday May 14th from 8:00-1:00
Where: At the pit area
Who: We need 15-20 adults and all scouts
What will we be doing: Cut, split and stack the wood behind the scout hut. Cover when done.
What is needed:
  • Chainsaws (With Gas/Oil mix),
  • Splitters (Dave Hunter has troop splitter, David Blackley, can we use yours, Locke’s, rent one from Phoenix Rental)
  • Trucks to move wood
  • Dress: work clothes, gloves,

Food: Need a team of folks to put together donuts, coffee, drinks, snacks and light lunch

Please let me know if you plan to attend (Or not). This will help with logistics and food planning.

Thank you
Mike O
