Personal Fitness Merit Badge

posted May 22, 2012, 7:27 PM by Lance Read

To All,
I will be starting a personal fitness merit badge class on Sat, June 2, 2012. We will meet at the Carmel Middle School Track at 9:00 a.m. During the first meeting we will review the requirements and perform the base line testing (1 mile run, situps, pushups, chinups and flexibility test). After this meeting, the scout will need to submit a program for aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises covering a 90 day period for approval. Upon approval they are to complete the program. We will then meet again in late July to monitor their progress and review the other requirements. We will have a final meeting in early-mid Sept to perform the end testing (1 mile run, situps, pushups, chinups and flexibility test).

If you son is interested in participating, have them send me an email or contact me via phone. If there are any questions, let me know.
